April 7, 2018: The JELANI Institute event, held on Saturday afternoon, April 7, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Community Center in Teaneck at 250 Colonial Court. This is Part I of a two-part focus on African and African-American history and culture, in recognition of the African-American Educational Center. Showcasing multiple authors and their prolific works, and honoring renowned historian and authors. Powerful Part II scheduled for April 4, 2020. Please see attached flyer for details.
April 9, 2016: Our now bi-annual JELANI Institute event was Saturday afternoon, April 9, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Community Center in Teaneck -- 250 Colonial Court, Teaneck NJ 07666. June 11, 2012: Carol Manigault was honored at the 2nd Annual TOAST AND TASTE For a cause Monday - June 11, 2012 6:30-8:30pm. She was honored on behalf of the JELANI Institute for the work that we've done in helping to implement Crisis Intervention Team training in Northern New Jersey -- specifically in Passaic County. April 11, 2010: Please join us the Sunday after Easter at Teaneck High School, Teaneck, NJ, for a wonderful celebration of all that The J.E.L.A.N.I. Institute stands for. We will see the progress being made in law enforcement, we will honor three fine people who have spent their lives bringing out the talented brilliance in young people, and we will make our very own gratitude journals. July 27, 2009: JELANI Institute brainstorming session to be held on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2009, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Rutherford campus of Felician College in Sammartino Hall (lower level). The Rutherford campus is located at 223 Montross Avenue, Rutherford, New Jersey, and Sammartino Hall is the round-shaped building on the corner of Montross Avenue and W. Passaic Street. Refreshments will be served.
April 5, 2009: Please join us on that Sunday afternoon in the Lodi campus cafeteria of Felician College for the monumental celebration of year five of the Justice Equity Love and Awareness Now Institute -- The JELANI Institute.
