April 7, 2018: The JELANI Institute event, held on Saturday afternoon, April 7, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Community Center in Teaneck at 250 Colonial Court. This is Part I of a two-part focus on African and African-American history and culture, in recognition of the African-American Educational Center. We will see the progress being made in law enforcement, we will honor three fine people who have spent their lives bringing out the talented brilliance in young people, and we will make our very own gratitude journals. July 27, 2009: JELANI Institute brainstorming session to be held on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2009, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Rutherford campus of Felician College in Sammartino Hall (lower level). The Rutherford campus is located at 223 Montross Avenue, Rutherford, New Jersey, and Sammartino Hall is the round-shaped building on the corner of Montross Avenue and W. Passaic Street. Refreshments will be served. |
